That is a simplified diagram. APO3 in that diagram is approximately where the "GFX" goes. GFXs are the only supported extension point in that part of the topology, and only the driver developer specifies the GFX. Would you be willing to describe what your hardware independent effect does? Ok, but what about this: http://blogs.msdn.com/larryosterman/archive/2006/03/07/545451.aspx I pretty much want to stick the APO in place of APO3 in the diagram above. That should not be specific to any particular audio hardware, should it ? /Rob ****************** WDMAUDIODEV addresses: Post message: mailto:wdmaudiodev@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subscribe: mailto:wdmaudiodev-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=subscribe Unsubscribe: mailto:wdmaudiodev-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe Moderator: mailto:wdmaudiodev-moderators@xxxxxxxxxxxxx URL to WDMAUDIODEV page: http://www.wdmaudiodev.com/ ****************** WDMAUDIODEV addresses: Post message: mailto:wdmaudiodev@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subscribe: mailto:wdmaudiodev-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=subscribe Unsubscribe: mailto:wdmaudiodev-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe Moderator: mailto:wdmaudiodev-moderators@xxxxxxxxxxxxx URL to WDMAUDIODEV page: http://www.wdmaudiodev.com/
