There’s no API to be able to audit failed attempts by other apps to access the 
microphone (and I’m not aware of a native Windows report) but that sounds like 
a good feature request – can you file it in Feedback Hub?

If I disable the microphone using the group policy rule, is there a
way for me to detect when a program tries to access the microphone, so
I can show a notification to the user?
