Hi everyone, how can I detect the number of channels a streaming- device supports? For example: I got a mainboard with Intel-AC97 codec with 5.1 support. When enumerating the pins I only get pins with either MaximumChannels=0x02 or MaximumChannels=0xffffffff. I would have thougt that I will get a value of 6... Any other way to find out the real numer of channels available?
