Hi Richard, It was tested on a newly installed Vista machine. None of our device was installed before the test. Thanks, Mike ----- Original Message ----- From: Richard Fricks To: wdmaudiodev@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Friday, August 10, 2007 12:19 PM Subject: [wdmaudiodev] Re: Default audio issue with USB telephony device on Vista This hotfix package only works if the device has not been installed on the machine before. If the device was already installed on the machine then applying this hotfix would have no effect for that device. Was that the case? Our device is listed as a Handset in playback/recording. But Vista still sets it as the default audio device when our device is plugged in. Anyone knows why? Thanks! Mike
