On that note - one thing I want confirmation on:

If I use Kernal Streaming for my audio application, can any other application
still use DirectX or Wave to play audio?
Or are they "blocked" until my application closes?

Cheerz,

Louis

Yes, it is possible under W2k and WinME as well. You just need to install
DirectX 8.1 or higher.

      Hi All:

I am unclear from the docs on wether it is possible to get an
AVStream-based driver to run under anything except XP.

      Any help would be appreciated.

      Wade.
