[wdmaudiodev] A question of time

What are the mechanisms that set the timebase for the audio output? If I
wanted to slow down or speed up the delivery of audio output data to my
IMiniPortWaveCyclicStream would I alter the notification frequency? Adjust
the values returned by GetPosition? or something else?
