Hello Michael!
I’m just checking in to make sure I’m actually signed up for class.
I clicked on it and paid but was only charged $25 instead of $35 and can’t see
any confirmation of registering for you class.

I’ll gladly pay that extra $10 but not sure how...

Looking forward to you sharing your knowledge and experience!

Howdy Fellow Artists!
I’d like to make you aware of a new class that I’m teaching on Saturday
February 8th from noon-3PM at the Land Trust. The class is about how to
evaluate and enter art contests and juried exhibitions.  The class is
sponsored by VIVA, but non-VIVA members are welcome to enroll in the class:
http://vivartists.com/viva/event2/a-visual-artists-guide-to-entering-art-contests-exhibitions/

Here is more information about the class. It is relevant for all 2D and 3D
visual artists in all media. A lot of the class materials reflects my own
experience with both submitting artwork to juried exhibitions and serving as
a juror in both international and local exhibitions.

A Visual Artists Guide To Entering Art Contests & Exhibitions
Saturday February 8th, noon-3PM
The Land Trust, 10014 SW Bank Rd, Vashon
$35
Instructor: Michael Elenko
Benefits 2D visual artists including painting, printing, design, and
photography; and 3D visual artists including sculpture, ceramics, fiber,
glass, woodworks and other media.

This class aims to help 2D and 3D visual artists understand how competitive
art exhibitions and contests work, and how to use online resources to enter
them. Both rewards and risks are examined in an even-handed way.

Class learning objectives:
•Understand factors that motivate people to enter art competitions
•Be aware of prerequisites necessary to enter competitions
•Recognize benefits and risks associated with participating in competitions
•Navigate to websites that facilitate entry into many international,
national, regional, and local art competitions
•Be able to begin planning how your art should be prepped, packaged and
shipped to the competition sponsor-either online or in real life

Since 2017, Michael Elenko's photographs have been included in 14
international juried exhibitions across the US.

Thanks and I hope to see you there.
