I'm not a representative of VIVA. I'm with a nonprofit called Vashon
Events. We are doing the promotion for First Friday Gallery Cruise. I sent
that info to VIVA in case an artist is presenting somewhere in town.
Sometimes the venues don't do the best job of letting me know who they
booked. Each venue selects their featured artists independently and has
their own process for doing that. So if you wanted to show somewhere, I
believe you would need to contact each specific gallery you were interested
and request information on how to do that.
As far as the membership for VIVA goes, again, I'm not a rep of VIVA, but
as a member myself, I believe it is $10 for the whole year. Not bad! You
can sign up at the VIVA website <http://vivartists.com/viva/join-viva/> and
during checkout, click "renewal" versus "new membership."

If you would like to be included, please email us with your information.
The deadline for being included on the monthly poster and postcards is 12
business days before FF in order to allow time for printing and
distributing materials. Funding for promotion is provided by the generous
lead sponsorship of John L. Scott Vashon and supporting sponsors Camp
Colvos Brewing, Evergreen Home Loans, Island Insurance Center, and Sue
Carette of Windermere Vashon.
If you have an event to promote that is not related to art, we would love
for you to advertise it separately at www.vashonevents.org/advertise.
The cost for advertising with Vashon Events is $25 per week in our
newsletter and that includes unlimited time on our website’s home page and
social media posts.
