Fine. I'll crack on using your suggestion.

Thanks,

David.

Hi David,

I've just fixed this one - it's caused by trying to edit an application
configuration when the selected surface is using the default settings, with
no app config loaded.

You can work around it by using the Surface menu's Load option to choose an
application configuration that you want to apply to the selected surface.
If you don't have an application configuration that meets your needs, create
a new one using File, New, Application Configuration. A non-crashing
version with a helpful error dialog will appear in Beta 4.4, but I won't
upload this until you've had more time to find other faults and I've cured a
few more of those that I already know about.

Best wishes.

Subject: [visurfacereader] Unhandled exception

Hello,

I was trying to edit an application configuration.

I loaded the default, then went into the edit menu, and chose Application
configuration. The program crashed, although it did actually catch the
unhandled exception. Is this a piece of code which hasn't been done yet, or
an error?

Best,

David.
