MICROSOFT RELEASE UPDATE FOR FS2004 -------------------------------------------------- Microsoft have just released an update to FS2004 as a download from their web site. This is great news for users of VFR Terrain as it finally gives FS2004 the ability to make full use of the 19m terrain resolution in VFR Terrain, something which has only previously been available for users of FS2002. In fact this is something of a double whammy for VFR Terrain: while most other terrain sceneries do not even come close to needing the improved terrain resolution in the FS2004 update, VFR Terrain benefits twice: Not only does the VFR Terrain mesh fully utilise the full 19m resolution of the update, but uniquely to VFR Terrain, the incredible detail of VFR Terrain's high resolution coastline and lake shores can now also be appreciated to the full - something which no other terrain scenery product on a national scale can offer (to the best of my knowledge). In short, if you want to fully experience the benefit of the FS2004 update, VFR Terrain is almost certainly the best and possibly only terrain scenery product in the world to allow you to do this.
