Yes, I did recently teach someone one-handed typing using the Talking Typing
Teacher in conjunction with a 508 Keyboard http://508keyboard.com/
I stopped teaching after around lesson 10 since the self-study was going
well after a few computer glitches were fixed. Our AT specialist did all the
hardware and software stuff, so I don't know much about that part of it
except I know it had some problems with using the CAP LOCK key which is some
sort of bug that eventually was fixed after some checking around by our AT
specialist. I found another keyboard that I preferred because it truly was
half-size and I assumed would be easier to navigate non-visually but it was
only available for right hand use and I had a left hand typist, so we
couldn't use it. The 508 is a full-size keyboard that you only use half of
(for whichever hand you need).

If you can't learn it, I'm not teaching it right!
