Thanks Chris, yes this is ringing a bel with me now, as I'm sure you've mentioned this before.
Well it is accessible now, as I've begun scripting Omnisphere 2, which bypasses any HSC issues. The V2.3 update was, and is only a problem on Windows 7 and it's a Spectrasonics problem, nothing to do with HSC or anything like that. It did mess up the set, simply because of the issues it has with ghost text on screen that Jaws reads.

Currently the latest Omnisphere, with Keyscape/Keyscape creative is working fine, I have all the browsers and the arp page fully accessible. I have also made the structure of all the other pages, which is the big job. So, what needs to be done now, is to add the controls in these windows.
Navigation in the browsers is lightening fast here and a breeze to move to columns, categories, genre's, patches etc etc etc. I would hope it gives an alternative for users who don't have KK, or perhaps want more access, as accessing 3rd party libraries is not an issue.

The ability to script it has given so much more flexibility, plus HSC, I'm afraid, struggles too much with Win 10 and a certain amount of hotspots.

Anyway, to my point, you can access the Utilities menu, where "install .omni" files is. I haven't yet tried installing any, as I don't have any, so no idea if any inaccessible dialogs will open.
Best Steve.

Steve,,

Forgive me for jumping in here Steve M, Steve this is the .omni file
format that Spectresonics introduced in Omnisphere 2 which essentially
negates the user having to place third party library folders into the
Steam folder manually and avoids installation issues that can cause.

the .omni is basically a zipped file of a libraries patches and folder
structure together with any required wav file sources, most third party
library creators now distribute their products in this way for ease of
installation.

I'm still on Omnisphere 2.2 as I don't need to upgrade not being a
Keyscape owner, and as you are I think aware, it was the 2.3 update that
changed the structure of the browser and messed up your HSC set,
although if Steve can no longer get to the Utilities menu where the
option to load the .omni file is housed, it suggests that there may be a
few more changes too,

Steve M, I would offer to unpack the file for you and dropbox the
folders for you to install manually in the old way, but you would still
need to do a database refresh which would also be inaccessible.

best,

Chris

No. It's just something required to install some Omnisphere patches.
Instead of being delivered as individual files which get dropped into
a directory, they have to be installed by a built-in part of
Omnisphere, and that requires sighted assistance since there is no
access to it in version 2.3.

now what I really need to do is find someone who understands how to
install a library into Omnisphere and do it for me via TeamViewer. My
wife can see it all, but since she's neither a computer person nor
musician, I cannot seem to explain to her what it is that needs doing
in order to install an Omnisphere library. Now before ya go saying
that I just drop the library into the Patches folder, there's one
bunch of patches that doesn't work like that. Mister Unfinished
packed
this one up into a .Omnisphere file which has to be installed in the
Utilities window which, thanks to the good folks at Spectrasonics, is
no longer accessible since version 2.3.

Oh yes. I even paid him for it. I'm expecting the links any day now.
He did say it would take him three or four days.

Omnisphere 2 is a new program essentially, it's not like an

I am not
putting it out any more, due to problems with versions above
V2.2.
This is
an Omnisphere 2 specific problem and nothing to do with the
sets.

If you're still interested in Omnisphere2 access in
samplitude under
Windows
10 (could possibly work in Windows 7), then I am currently
working on a
set
of Jaws only scripts that can be bolted on to the main
Samplitude
scripts.
I have currently done full access to the main page and the
browsers,
along
with the structure of accessing virtually all of the other
windows.
What
needs to be added is controls in these other windows.  I'm
not sure how
far
I will go, I'm just chipping away at it. Anyway, this will be a
different
solution to the solution available via the KK controller. Steve.

I have to buy new spots for omnisphear too if I were to buy
it.  I have
the
