Thanks Paul, that's got it.

Nobody is superhuman but, on this list, we think you come pretty close

Hi Paul,

I realized now I made a "typo" this morning in my haste, please forgive me
as I am only human it seems,*smiles*.
The keystroke should be as follows:

Winkey + pause key.
The pause key can be found on a typical desktop keyboard up on the top
right side of your keyboard as the key to the "right side" of a group of
three keys for anyone who isn't sure.

Paul.

Hi Paul

Pretty sure I've already downloaded the XP Service Pack but I tried your
instructions just to see. When I press winkey plus enter from the open
desktop, nothing happens and when I try to read as per your instructions, I
just get the desktop info.

Don't know what I may be doing wrong.

Paul

Hi Susan,

Follow these instructions to find out what service pack you have:

1. While on your desktop with nothing open, press and hold down windows key
and then press enter key.
Note: This will open up the system settings section of your computer.

2. Next "route jaws to PC", do this by pressing and holding down the jaws
key and then pressing the jaws cursor key which is the minus key on your
numpad "top right side".

3. Now press number pad "9" to page up to the top of this screen.

4. Finally use number pad "2" key to move down through this system window
till you come to the section that indicates what windows operating system
you have and which service pack if any you have installed. If you only have
service pack 1 or 2 then you can install SP3.

Why you should install a service pack could be for a number of reasons. A
service pack contains updated drivers and other files that help enhance the
over-all performance of your windows operating system and keep it in good
order.

Paul.
