Try it then. Put the link in to your phone as a Bookmark and try and open it and see what happens. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Maureen Newelll" <mcnewell@xxxxxxxxxx>

Yes, the phone can show video but I am not interested in the picture, just
purely the sound.

It will depend on the phone and if the phone can show video etc. What phone
do you have Maureen. I will try it out on one of my phones and see.

Hi Joe,

I'm not sure just at the moment which RTE channel that the Sunday game is
on
during a live game but for you or anyone who wants to have a live RTE
stream
wherever you go in the world, place the following link on your desktop by
creating a shortcut as follows:

1. Go to the windows desktop and make sure nothing is selected, if
something
like my documents says selected, unselect using the control key plus the
spacebar to unselect.
2.Press the application key or use keys, "shift + F10" to open the
application menu.
3. Arrow down to "create shortcut" and press enter
4. Now paste in carefully the following link;

http://www.rte.ie/player/#l=7

5. Press the enter key after you have pasted in the above link.
6. You will now be asked for a user friendly name, call it for example RTE
TV or something like this and again press the enter key.
7. Now go back onto your desktop and look for your new shortcut, once
found
press the enter key on it to open up the live stream. Just one additional
tip, make sure that each time you open it up, you maximise the screen
using
keys, "Left alt + Spacebar followed by letter M"

Now you're done and you will have the RTE channel wherever you are for
news
broadcasts etc.

Paul.
