hello florit will read the whole chart if I select it by pressing control, shift and the letter o. the thing is I don't know how to select the first column and that's all I need. many thanks

Vincent,You know how to select the column, I think. Then, try going into the Formatmenu - keystroke alt-o, then perhaps format cells... and then choose the Font tab control. Then tab down to the Colour button menu (as it may becalled), and choose your color from the combo box or dropdown listbox. That done, change the font if need be in the following tab, then Tab through and enter to OK your choice. (As I've never done it, and so far nobody else hasoffered anything, I'm offering this as it appears to me to be somehow feasible from perusing the dialogues.)
