[vip_students] selecting alternate paragraphs

Blankhi folks
task is to select paragraphs 1 3 and 5 in a 7 paragraph document.
then give those paragraphs a similar format.
i know i could always format paragraph 1 and then use the format painter to
paste the format to paragraphs 3 and 5, but is there any way to highlight the 3
paragraphs and do it in one fell swoop so to speak?
