as the charger is in the ncbi and i will get back to you.
the braille lite has a battery enclosed in the unit but maybe i can find out
that information also.

If you can find out the voltage on the back of the charger, perhaps I can get
you one.
There will be an input voltage of 240 and an output voltage of something
else. the output voltage is what is required. along with the amps or more
lightly the milli amps . also can the unit take batteries? if yes how many and
what type?
