Hi Susan
The instructions for the phone should be the same unless you are using an earlier version of talks.

Hi Seoirse
You could try the following:
1. Press the talks key followed bye the star key which will bring you into the talks settings
2. Press the right arrow key once to bring you to the advance tab sheet.
3. Down arrow until you come to cursor mode and press the select key.
4. Down arrow to letters and press select.
You can now read your text letter by letter when using the right arrow key.

Hi Joan Ann,

that's cool, thank you very much.

I have the N70 phone also. i'm wondering do you, by any chance, know how to
get the right arrow key to read the letters of a text sent by someone to
your in box ? i ask this as sometimes when i receive a text, and don't
understand some words i try to get my right arrow key to read out the word
letter by letter, but unfortunately my phone does not do this...is this
similar on all N70 phones or should i change my settings do you know ?

Cheers,

Seoirse

Subject: [vip_students] reminder on the phone

Hi all
I use my phone to save appointments and birthdays and find it very useful.

I wrote the below notes for someone some time back and thought I would
post
them to the list as they may be of help. I am using the n70 but, I think
the calendar on most phones work in the same way.

instructions on how to use

2. Press key 1 and down arrow to new entry sub-menu.

Note: You can also add anniversaries to the calendar by choosing the
anniversary from "new entry".
