Hey Kathleen
as far as i'm aware there isn't a way to retrieve text messages through the phone but you can look at calls by going into log and right arrowing over, you can see if you received or sent a text this way but you can't see the actual text message. but in relation to the texts if you go on vodafone live or what ever phone company you are with and I think you can access the texts this way. i'm working from the nokia e51 but i'm sure all the phones are standard.
