Hi Edel, It seems to me that perhaps your outlook profile is damaged. You could try the following; the work around for this error message is to create a new profile and pst file in Outlook. Click on start\control panel, brings up the control panel, then click on the Mail Icon, Easiest to fine in classic view, once you open the mail icon "mail setup" panel, click show profiles then click add, give it a profile name like your first name, click ok. It will bring up the accounts wizard, setup your email account. After you complete the setup you should endup in the mail window. At the bottom make sure the dot is in "always use this profile" and in the drop down window make sure you new profile is selected, then click ok. Try to open Outlook, should open fine now. If your missing any mail or contacts when you open it let me know, you will need to try to import then from your old pst file called "outlook.pst" If your not missing or don't need them, your done and Outlook should work fi Paul.
