Hi Vincent,

There are so many issues when dealing with PDF files, for example, some PDF
documents are not designed to be accessible and therefore they cannot be
read with a screen reader.

What version of Jaws are you using?

There is an accessible version of the Adobe Acrobat reader, although I am
not sure whether newer versions of screen readers still require this, our
technical guru Mr Traynor would know far more than me on this one!

Regards,

Stuart.

hello guys

from time to time i get PDF files sent to me as an attachment. and these are
very slow at opening and some times they don't open at all. I have the
latest version of acrobat reader. can someone tell me is there a way of
opening this easier. bearing in mind I don't know much about this sort of
thing.

regards

Vincent Stack
