well, friends, thanks for the suggestions, i went to "mail" then to "edit" but when i found "delete" it would only allow me to delete messages one at a time, couldn't find the "all" button anywhere, so, laboriously i proceedded to delete my e mails one at a time, and they're gone now, and in future i'll delete my e mails each day, thanks again to everyone for their input, take care, god bless, travel safely, joe.
