First thing I would ask about screens freezing is what anti virus do you
have?. Is there also anything like spyware doctor etc on it?. Also have
you
got a lot of items running in the "\programs\startup window?.

hi folks
i am about to snowball ye all again while getting used to vista, jaws 11
and
a new laptop.
so here goes again.
1 i have set the jaws basic configuration for laptop but am still having
problems pulling up a list of links using the ins and f7 combination,
sometimes works and sometimes doesnt.
2 i am told by sighted assistance that the pointer is freezing on the
screen
, short of shutting down and restarting how can i unfreeze it?
3 on a website when i try to activate a link all i get is a click sound
but
the link does not activate
any ideas on the above snags much appreciated.
also i have never used vista before and would appreciate any tutorials or
hints and tips.
