Edel
Thank you for your condolences.

You might like to update though with 7.5 I would not have expected you to have
a problem. I use Supernova 7.5 and I honestly started finding this error
problem with Adobie after version 6.0 so strange but maybe one of our other Vip
students will put both of us wiser to the problem.

Eleanor

  Hi Eleanor

I am really sorry for you going through that trauma tonight. I do not have a
guide dog but I had a lovely golden lab for 16 years and yes I know the
heartache. I offer you my condolence.

It is a pdf file that I am trying to open and I have adobe reader 7.0.9 and
adobe acrobat 5.0 installed. Not sure which is which. Perhaps I need to
update or upgrade.

  Edel..

It's obviously a pdf file that you are trying to open. Unfortunately I
sometimes get this too but when I give it a go again it works out OK. What
version of Adobie Acrobat Reader are you using? Are you familiar with PDF
files?

I am feeling very sad tonight as I had to have my little guide Dog Pedro
(retired) put to sleep today. He was 12 years and 7 months and had been with
me for 10 years and 8 months. Those of you who have guide dogs will know what
a heartbreak this is. They do such a wonderful job. Where owould we be
without them?

      Hi again

I'm trying to open a file from a government website and I keep getting
the following message

internet explorer has encountered a problem with an add-on and needs to
close.
The following add-on was running when this problem occurred.
      Add on name: AcroPDF.dll
      Company Name: Adobe Systems Incorporated
      Description: Adobe PDF Browser Control

I also had this problem a few weeks ago with the tipperary institute
website. There is an option to learn more about add-ons in the box but my pc
freezes at that point.

Anyone any suggestions. I feel it might be something to do with my
firewall or protection.

      Cheers

      Edel..
