Thanks for all of that Tony.

I tried your suggestion but when I right arrow within clock I get the
message "no data".  The quickest way I can find for getting the time without
opening the keypad and using talks plus number 9is to use my shortcut key to
clock, then enter settings and that tells me the time.

Hi Paul D Again,

I have just discovered (I'm sure you'll be pleased to know) a better way of
telling the time in 'the clock!

Select 'clock,  then you should see the alarm time (which will be at zero if
not set) then rightarrow and there you have the current time!

8.41 it is now telling me!
