hi paul,

i followed your instructions and i hit the application key arrowed down to play and it still came up with the same message,
audio cd: this file
does not have a program associated with it for performing this action create
a association in the folder options control panel

the cd will play when ifirst close the drawer the list of options comes up and i select play using windows media player, but when i try and open it going through my computer i thought i could access a list of songs that is on the cd i have just burned so i could delete or add a song. maybe this is not possible, just i thought i had done this in the past.

many thanks

susan

Hi Susan,

Just place the CD into either drawer and if it then auto loads up prompting you to play using Windows Media Player, just press enter key on this choice
and it should start playing.
If nothing happens after a few moments then use keys, "Winkey + letter E" to open up windows Explorer. Arrow down to where it might say either "Audio CD
D: or Audio CD E:, only one will have the word Audio in it. This will
indicate to you that is the drive with the CD. At this point, press the
application key on it and from the menu, press enter key on the "play
button". It should now begin to play.

Paul.
