[vip_students] avast

I believe my Avast requires to be renewed.  I installed it in December '08 and 
I thought it would be OK until February.  However it has stopped speaking for 
the last week or so and I am not sure whether or not it is doing it's job. I do 
not know how to renew same on my own.  Please help.
