  There is a file called .aac and not .arc.  Would that be a different file 
extension or might you not have the spelling correct?  I do not know but there 
is free software called Switch which will convert an .aac file to .mp3.  If you 
Google for Switch then you can download it.  There is the free version and the 
Pro version.  I think for the trial period it operates on the Pro and then 
reverts to the standard Switch for the free version.
