No you won't find a check box for that Joe, it will happen, as Flor says from
time to time. It is very quick and compacts all folders one after the other.
You can even close OE while that is going on.

hello friends, for a long time now i've been getting a message in "outlook
express" it says something like "to save disk space outlook express can
compact messages" i've tried tabbing around to try to find "don't show me this
