Hi Frank,

Just came across this on a website. Not sure if it's of any benefit but you could have a look.

You may have mywebsearch as a add-on to Internet Explorer.Open Internet Explorer, Go to tools, Manage add-ons, click on Enable or disable add-ons, now look for mywebsearch or funwebproducts. Click on it, that should high light it. Then click on disable. Click ok. You may have more than one add-on for those so look at the whole list. You may also want to look in add and remove programs see if it's there. If so uninstall.

Regards,

Francis.

He also mentioned AVG. (If there's such a program as super Antivirus, you can't have two antivirus programs running at the same time on one computer, as they fight each other.) However, it sounds like SUPERAntiSpyware, for malware detection. Maybe it's time to update to MSSE - Microsoft Security Essentials, which is free, one program, and does both viruses and malware.

Now, we'd like to know what happens when you launch Internet Explorer. What error message do you get?

Hi Frank,
Sounds like a cookie. Are you using superantispyware?
You mentioned Super anti virus but this isn't necessarily Superantispyware.

Aedan.

Hi Frank,
Can you get the name of this virus?I presume that you are using
Superantispyware. If you can get me the whole path and filename of the
virus
I should be able to help you.
Regards
Aedan.
