Hi all, Was going through the process of speeding up Jaws, and thought it might be useful to send details to the list.
to speed up jaws you first need to,
1. press insert and j. JFW should say something like options submenu or
something like that.
2. you then right arrow to basics.
3. Arrow down till it says, voices submenu, right arrow to Global
adjustment. or simply press letter v on the keyboard. it will say global
adjustment.
4. Then tab until you hear JFW say rate and then it will give you the rate
that it is set to at the present time. You are able to change the rate by
going up and down with your arrow keys. When you get it to the speed that
you want then you can just tab across to okay, and hit enter.
