Garth,
Open your PDF. JAWS may say; Alert, Empty Document. At this point press JAWSKey+SPACE; thn o (for OCR); then d (for dolcument). Then JAWS may/should say, 'OCR STARTED, PLEAS WAIT'. After a while it will finish, and you can then read or select the text, etc.

If the above does not work, Tell us: What version of JAWS are you using?

(Additionally: JAWS/INSERTkey+SPACE then h, will give a description of what these JAWSKey+space 'layered keystrokes' do.)

I am using Windows 10
And ever since my upgrade my old way of reading 'PDF' documents
Has gone to pot.

Do any of my friends out there using 'Jaws'
