Thanks Vincent. I know the link but hoped someone might have some
suggestion as to how I might go back to 3.8 without uninstalling Skype
altogether. Anyway it looks as if there is no other way but to do it the
long way[smile].

i have notdone it but if you have a look at the download/ upgrade page
on
the site you will find a link to bring you back to the 3.8 version which
is
accessable for blind people. hope you have luck with this.
