As for the second part of your mail I have that problem occasionally but do as

I hav e51 also try the select key when you get text and your straight into
your text, hope that works for you, tell me Tony do you hav any problems
with the stand by mode with your fone with mine it tells me that the stand
by mode is full and close all applications and try again so i have too turn
the fone off can be very annoying
