Ah Jackie,

That's possibly what's wrong!

I just assumed that hitting key 2 where my Messaging is should have done the
trick but now I see!

Must await my next text then to try that.

Thanks a lot!

Tony

  Tony

as far as i'm aware when your phone beeps for a new message and you hit key2
then you cancel the message and therefore hitting key1 doesn't work, then you
have to go into the messaging folder to read the menu.

    Jackie,

I have Messaging on Key 2 but when I hit 2 or indeed 1 on a new incoming
text nothing happens!

    Wonder if I'm missing something.

As I say it works for me with my E65!

    Thanks

    Tony

      Hey Tony

i also have the e51 and once a new text comes in i just press key1 and it
goes straight into the message. this is of course when messaging is
working
ok as my phone tends to freze on messaging at times.

      yours
      Jackie
