OK thanks Albert. Do I need to enter the hash symbols too and will this work if
I an dialling to UK? I have tried calling my UK MOBILE USING MY irish mobile.
My Irish mobile showed up plus dialling code.

Hello Eleanor,
to block a landline number the prefix is 141, to block a mobile number it is
hash31hash followed by the mobile number you are calling.

  Hi All
In the UK when I use my landline or mobile phone, I can prefix the number
with the digits 141 to withhold my caller ID. Is there anything similar here
in Ireland? I have tried this 141 prefix but it did not work here.

  Eleanor
