Norton Internet Security is not universally highly thought of among JAWS users. It (being a security suite) does more than norton Antivirus; but I'd let paul be an arbitrator on its worthwhileness, as compared and contrasted with any other security suite for comfortable use - in particular with JAWS. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Hazel Flannigan" <hazel.flannigan@xxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <vip_students@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Monday, June 22, 2009 7:50 PM Subject: [vip_students] Re: Hello all. Hello, Martin, Pauline, Thank you for the information. I have sorted out the problem with avast, but, if I need a anti virus programme in the future, I now know that McAfee is not good with JAWS, and Norton works well with JAWS. Many thanks, Hazel Flannigan. -----Original Message----- >From: vip_students-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:vip_students-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Martin Trodden Sent: 22 June 2009 14:19 To: vip_students@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [vip_students] Re: Hello all. Hi Hazel. i use jaws 10 and i have norton internet security. i have never had a problem with it. the norton updates and runs a scan in the backround so it does not need to be watched. a friend of mine used that avest and had problems with it blocking everything on her. i hope this helps. Martin. ----- Original Message ----- >From: "Pauline Lawler" <paulinelawler14@xxxxxxxxxx> To: <vip_students@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Monday, June 22, 2009 11:58 AM Subject: [vip_students] Re: Hello all. > Hazel, > > welcome to the list.
