This is the official date that support and updates for AVg 7.5 Free will
end.
If the date changes we will give you good forward notice.

So, folk still now have a choice of at least two alternative, reasonably
good, free and accessible antivirus programs.

Hi Tony,
Okay, so it looks as if the confusion will go on for another while. I just
wonder however how much confidence I would have in AVG free if I were using
it now as Grisoft are only providing a free screen reader in order to try
and get people to upgrade to their professional package which is also what
others like the company who make Avast do . With all the confusion Grisoft
have caused over the past couple of weeks it might be a little hard to have
faith in them and how well they will provide good quality service for their
7.5 free package when they are already supporting a free 8.0 one.
