  Oh, elelanor and Noreen too,

You should have seen some of the absolute crap I received from eejits
purporting to be eircom management. This malpractice has been ongoing for
some time now, and they seem to have a problem with their spelling of the
word "centre", preferring to use the American-English 'er' ending of it.

In one message, I was referred to as 'valued subscriber', congratulated for
my decision to upgrade to webmail eircom (whatever that is), and warned that
if I didn't reply withint 24 hours, I would be deleted from their 'account',
followed by, on the one line: "thanks, management".

Prior to this threatening series, I had to change my eircom password, due
to what can be best termed a tsunami of spam, in various languages, South
American Spanish being one of them.

So, yes indeed, I know right well what you're talking about there, as some
genuine e-spondence was being blocked by this so-called spam protector.

  John
