Hi Hazel,
Welcome to the list. Could you tell us what anti virus software you are
using?, roughly how old is your computer?, What kind of tasks have you been
using your PC for and have you installed anything lately other than Kurzweil
and your scanner?. What version of Kurzweil would be helpful and anything
else you can think of.
I wonder if you are using software such as Norton or Macaffee anti virus
programs.
