Hi All,

Here is just a quick tip for arranging all your files and folders in what
appears to be a single column and saves you at the end of a column of files
and folders from then having to move over to a new column. In other words
this will give you what seems to represent a single continuous column.

1. While on the desktop, go into "My Computer".

2. Go into the view menu and enter on "list"

3. Now go into the tools menu and enter on "folder options".

4. While in here, do a "control + tab" to jump to the vie page.

5. Press the "spacebar" on the "apply to all folders" button

6. Tab to the "ok" and press spacebar to finish.

Paul.

Subject: Windows XP and folders and files in List

Hi Paul
I would like to put all my folders for every application in to list form
rather than doing this each time I go into a folder. Please can you tell me
how to do this globally?

Many thanks.

Eleanor
