The DuBois Lions Club and DuBois Nursing Home will be hosting AMBA Blood Screenings and a Health Fair on Saturday, March 31st, 2012.  Blood Screenings will be done between the hours of 6am and 10am.  To make an appointment call toll free 1-800-234-8888, Monday through Friday 8:30am-5:00pm.  A variety of Health Care Vendors will be offering services such as blood pressure checks, accu-checks, oxygen testing and more. The DuBois Area Jaycees is accepting letters of request for their 2012 Charitable Giving Campaign. The Jaycees work hard to raise money throughout the year and each year they donate a portion of the money raised to local non-profit organizations. If your non-profit organization would like to be considered to receive a donation this year, please send a letter of request to Leanne Nedza, Vice President of Community Development, 90 Beaver Drive, Box 6, DuBois, PA 15801, or email to leannenedza@xxxxxxxxxxx. Light It Up BLUE to Shine a Light on Autism – Monday, April 2nd is World Autism Awareness Day;  since the color blue represents autism, would you please show your support by decorating your store front in BLLUE??  Let’s come together as a community to show awareness for autism – wear blue, decorate blue, change bulbs to blue, blue balloons, and so on.  Thanks for helping to Shine a Light on Autism – a BLUE light!
