workshops

Outs of Web Development; First Look at Microsoft 2010; How
Going Green Help the
Bottom Line and MORE! PA Wilds is “Cashing-In on Geocaching”-
There will be a conference for people interested in this high
tech scavenger
hunt that explores the connection between tourism, technology
and nature.
The conference begins with registration at 9:30 am at the
Emporium Country Club
on Friday, November 5, 2010.

Avenue Project
Update for Week of Nov. 1-The
following information is an update for PennDOT’s Hospital
Avenue/Dixon
Avenue realignment project in DuBois for the week of Nov.
1. All work is
weather dependent.
·
Motorists are
advised to watch for slow moving and stopped vehicles through
the entire work
zone. The overall
project will
re-align Hospital Avenue with Dixon Avenue. Work includes
roadway
widening, new traffic signals, and improved access to DRMC.
The job is
scheduled to run through late November of this year. TOYS FOR

Mystery Fundraiser
is set for

the DuBois Country Club. This year’s murder involves Lucy,

C/J Drug & Alcohol Commission or the Greater DuBois
Chamber. This a
unique and different way to spend a Saturday night with
