Congratulations to the Greater DuBois Area for another successful Make-A-Wish campaign!  It’s wonderful to see people of all age helping others.

 

PACKAGES and more & RN Industries would like to thank everyone who contributed to November's POUND OUT HUNGER Campaign!  More than 150 lbs. of non-perishable food was collected and delivered to DuBois Ministerial Food Pantry!  This campaign was a HUGE success and will be an annual event to help the hungry in our community.

NOW AVAILABLE:  Lumber Heritage Region, in partnership with DCNR and the Pennsylvania Wilds Planning Team, has funding available to support projects totaling $30,000 with a maximum award of $5,000 per application. The grant amount must be matched 100% with funds from other sources.  Funds must be expended by December 31, 2012.

This is an opportunity for non-profit organizations to apply for funding to preserve the heritage of our communities through partnerships that conserve resources, tell the stories and enhance the quality of life for residents and visitors alike.  Information packets and applications are available on their website at www.lumberheritage.org
