Hi Harvey
That's great. If it beaps I'll be fine. I'll give them a call to find out.
Best wishes
Sharon

Subject: [vihouseholds] Re: Bread Makers
Sharon, I have no sight at all, and use a Panasonic bread maker. It has
button controls, easy to locate, and the machine beeps when any of the
buttons is pressed. You need to know how many beeps are required for all the
settings.
I've had my machine for a couple of years, so they might have changed the
model. Panasonic have a good customer advice service, and they will tell you
if the current machine beeps. Their number is
08448 443899
If you decide on the Panasonic, I suggest you get the instructions brailled
or audio-ed. If you need Braille, there are one or two transcribers you
might contact. My notes on transcribers may well be out of date, so best ask
RNIB.

Hi all,
This list has gone quiet so hope it's sstill active.
I eat very little bread these days but do enjoy good quality bread
when I buy it. My partner however loves bread and misses it if not in
his diet. So I'm thinking of buying a bread maker so I can make
healthy bread without all the hard work.
I've looked at several models on the internet and I'm not easily able
to establish if the controls are via a touch panel or buttons - I
suspect the former in most cases. I was wondering if any of you have a
bread maker and can pass on any tips or recommendations?
Hope you are all well? I did eventually get my new kitchen installed
in London and it surpassed my expectations. It's not a large flat but
has really opened up the flat. In a week I'm having a new bathroom
installed. Once again it's not a large bathroom - I want to replace
the bath with a lovely shower cubicle but Tony wants a bath so a
little negotiation is going on! Wish me luck!
