Hi Gerry,
These days hosting and domain registration are so cheap I'd nearly try
getting something that has been paid for, or at least maybe ask for
sponsorship of the hosting package for your event.
I suspect that free hosting services will do things like throw in their own
adds etc on your site, not ideal and not terribly professional either.
