Hi Eamonn,

You could suggest your colleague try Thunder, available from
www.screenreader.net/

Regards,

Stuart.

Subject: [vicsireland] low cost or free screen reader - query

Hi folks,

A colleague, who is fully sighted, but dyslexic, was wondering about free
or low cost screen readers.#

He bought a new laptop running Vista, and now finds that some of his XP
based software no longer runs.

I think he had been using some kind of screen reader, but don't know what.

I thought of SA TO GO, But don't know if you need to be online in order to
use it?

I suppose narator is another possibility, if you don't mind being put to
sleep!

Any advice welcome.

Thanks as ever,

Eamonn
