Good morning, Vince. I had noticed that problem too, depending on whete I
touched the phone. It is necessary to listen and respond verbally immediately
after the phone issues a double cough that may sound like ah-ah.
I find scrolling either down the right or within pages using three fingers
very slow and an incomplete science as people may have had to be renamed to
satisfy the system vagaries. While previously you may have recorded separately
John, John Mobile and John work, one had now better record them as John 1, John
2 and 3 for clarity. Having committed the first set of almost 300 numbers to
memory over time, attemting to quickly forget them and relearn new names for
the numbers is difficult. I would also like to stop duplicate and multiple
copies of numbers appearing in my Favou rites list. How do I make the system
check to see whether a number is in the list and if already there not repeat
it? I am trying to use Favourites as a substitute for the older speed-dials
for the people and sevives I contact most often. At least that was my
intention but every time I ring them I am asked at the end by the system if I
wish to add them to Favourites and I can't figure out where to say no. It
seems to be necessary to go into the menu and delete the unwanted copies.
I'll have to clean up mine later today Pages of missed calls need to be
scrubbed. Is there any way of retaing at any time the missed calls for the
past 2 days but delete the previous day's as the 24 hour period goes by?

when trying to use siri sometimes i get a screen that says listen and when i
play around with it it gives me the option to dismiss siri. my question is how
do i get rid of this screen and just be able to speak to siri again. many

As Ger and Jer sound so similar I would delete the name ger and replace, if a
man by gerard or if a woman by geraldine,
It will also get confused by der for DERMOT or dor for dorothy as they
could sound like one another and the first of these two could also get messed
up with the two abbreviations in the previous section, ger a d jer.
f you are in a hurry and you know the full ten or whatever digitts in the
target number, try asking the phine to place the call , After holding the home
buttom and being asked what can I do for you reply{ phome n1 n2 n3 n4 n5 n6
........... remembering to begin with an std code or other prefix

i am trying to dial a contact called ger using siri and its giving me all
sorts of suggestions that i dont have. can some one tell me how to get this
name either by siri or even bringing up my contact list. also when sending a
text with siri if it writes out words i dont want how do i go to that word and
edit or delete it. many thanks.
