[vicsireland] iTunes tutorial and software updates

Hi folks,
Paul: Your question prompts me to ask whether an iPhone 3GS can be
updated to run IOS5 software. I assume not, as I believe it can't run
SIRI. I took a look in Settings, General, and didn't see a choice of
software updates.
Ages ago, I connected my iPhone to my MAC, and tried updating the
software, but I think I was advised to back up files first. I didn't
update the software, as I didn't know how to back up!
That leads me on very nicely to my second question: Are there text or
audio tutorials on using iTunes with Snowleopard. I mean an ABC guide,
literally fromm the ground up!
I still have to experience the joys or pains of downloading music, apps,
using libraries etc.
As Manuel would have put it, "I know notting"! Perhaps the main difference
between us is, I'm not from Barcelona!
