Joan Ann,

There are two alternative strategies you could employ as well. If you
toggle the virtual cursor off with insert-z, you will get a different
reading of the page, particularly where the so-called read-only edit area is
concerned. This may not be too convenient to do, however, as there is much
mixed in with it. The other alternative is, when you come to the edit area,
route JAWS to PC and then navigate through and hit left-mouse button twice
on a check-in date! There's also the possibility of routing PC to JAWS, and
there you get a load of on-mouse-over links. May be as well to try The
SaToGo screen-reader in ai situation like this. This dynamic whatsit is
either very stupid or very clever, but it foxes JAWS.
